This is why we employ a range of ‘fun-relax’ aspects to the courses. In the past, people have opted for yoga-type relaxation session or even cha-cha-cha lessons. We use anything that promotes feel-good and safety in a group; this way, we are more able to speak our minds, make a contribution and enjoy the day. After all, it is the group members and their life experiences that are the most important ‘resources’ of the day.
So what qualifies us to teach?
The most important quality you will see during one of our training sessions is the enthusiasm to teach. Sure, your tutor has a PGCE (teaching qualification), a Diploma in Psychotherapy, fifteen years of teaching success and works as a consultant for the Department of Skills and Education. But we know that ‘teaching’ is not just about knowing the theory.
